PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing safety and operational improvements along South Patrick Drive (State Road (S.R.) 513) from Eau Gallie Boulevard (S.R. 518) to Patrick Space Force Base, within the cities of Indian Harbour Beach and Satellite Beach. These improvements aim to enhance mobility and extend the service life of the existing roadway.

WHAT TO EXPECT
During construction, motorists should expect intermittent single-lane closures during daytime and nighttime hours. The posted speed limit of 40 to 45 mph will remain in effect throughout the work zone.
Please be aware that construction activity and noise levels may vary throughout different phases of the project. Motorists should also anticipate areas of uneven pavement within the project limits, a common condition during construction when the contractor applies multiple asphalt layers in phases. Many of these
roadway conditions are temporary and will gradually improve as the project progresses.
Electronic message boards and additional signage will help direct traffic through the work zone. Please note that the construction schedule may change due to inclement weather or other unexpected conditions. For the most current project details and lane closure information, please visit FDOT’s Central Florida website at www.cflroads.com.
